Wine Tasting Class

Located so close tothe famous vineyards of the Penedes and Priorat regions, no wonder so many great wines find their way to the Catalan capital of Barcelona, to be consumed with gusto by its cosmopolitan residents.

The aim of this informal wine tasting class, which takes place in one of the city’s traditionalvinotecas, is to help participants appreciate some of these fantastic local vintages, by leading them through the four steps of appreciating wines, and talking a little bit about the different Spanish regions and terroirs.

For each session he hand selects some of his favourite vintages from Catalonia’s 12denominacion de origenwine regions, so you’ll be enjoying some of the very best produce in this part of Spain.

Furthermore each wine is paired with an artisan cheese, and dairy lovers will enjoy the variety of textures and intense flavours that make it onto the table, including from the Pyrenees mountains.

Overall the experience is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to taste some top quality Spanish and Catalan wines, but doesn’t have time for aday trip out into the Penedes region.

It’s also perfect for parties, corporate events and other groups and, on request, the activity can also be held in a restaurant, hotel room, conference venue or other place of your choice.

Prices depend a little bit on the number of people. They are: €50 per person for 2-5 people; €45 p.p. for 6-9 people and €40 p.p. for 10 or more people.
