BCN Languages

Established in 1994, BCN Languages is based outside the centre in the neighbourhood of Gracia, where their school possesses 12 fully equipped classrooms, designed for small study groups, as well as study area with computers, resource library and WiFi throughout.

They pride themselves on the quality of their staff, who are all graduates in teaching Spanish as a foreign language with a minimum of 5 years teaching experience, as well as the close personal attention they give to each student. Recognising that each student has their unique needs, their team are experts at guiding them towards the right courses, and as well ensuring their experience at the school, and in Barcelona, is as enjoyable and enriching as possible.

Their syllabus has been carefully aligned them with the scale defined by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), with end of course evaluations providing students with an objective assessment of what they have achieved, and what is still to aim for. They’ve also been rubber-stamped by the Instituto Cervantes, who provides the only official, internationally-recognised qualification (DELE) of speaking Spanish.

They offer a range of classes, such as as summer courses, intensive courses, DELE Preparation Course, as well as private lessons, all of which are taught using a communicative teaching methodology that places the student at the heart of the lesson.
